Wanna know my best blogging achievement?

I had been reading the blog of a make money online expert for about six months. I really learned a lot from his blog and started participating in discussions. I was looking pretty stupid in the beginning. I think participating in this blog was quite an achievement for me. But - it was not my best blogging achievement.Well, he announced a writing project. The project was all about internet marketing. You should take the time to check that writing project out. Some really good articles. I had heard about writing projects and decided to participate. He ended up getting over 40 articles. It was a huge success. I must have got over 200 visitors to my article in the next two weeks. That is quite an achievement for me. But - it was not my best blogging achievement.
The next thing you know the guy teams up with another genius and they start this new service for bloggers. It’s pretty simple. You submit an article, they promote it for you. The best part is it’s free. The name of the service is BloggingZoom. Well, knowing who the creators were, I signed in and started reaping the rewards. Remember this service was for bloggers. I felt left out since I was a real web developer, not a start out blogger. But - my site does look like a blog, maybe I could get my article by. Low and behold they accepted the article. Then a strange thing started happening. The article kept getting submitted to StumbleUpon.com. WOW! Talk about traffic. I am very happy to say that one article has brought in over 1000 visits in the last month. That is quite a blogging achievement. But - that is not my best blogging achievement.
The article I authored was a pretty detailed account of how back links really work. Being a web developer, not a blogger, I was able to put a lotta link value on that page by just putting 2 links on the page. Most web pages, including blogs, have at least 100 links on their page. The problem with that is the value of each link is worth next to nothing. My page had two links, one to my home page, and one to the gurus home page. This was a way of paying him back. Just think, if that page goes to PR 2, he automatically gets a PR1. That is quite a blogging achievement. But - that is not my best blogging achievement.
My best blogging experience was when I finally broke down and started my own blog. Imagine that, Me, the real web developer started his own blog. This is by far proving to me to be my best blogging achievement.
This article was written to be part of the “My best blogging achievement” writing project.
